we can help

If you live in Northern Westchester and need temporary assistance with food or clothing for yourself or your family, come see us at the Northern Westchester Community Center. You might also want to visit us if you have a specific problem and don't know how or where to get help; we will do our best to direct you to other resources that can assist you.

What do I need to qualify for support?

We aim to help anyone living in Northern Westchester, so we ask that you bring proof of address—such as a phone or utility bill, or any item addressed to you and received by mail. If you are seeking assistance for other household members, please bring identification—such as a health or insurance card, or school records—for each additional family member who needs help. We protect the confidentiality of all information you provide to us.

Where is the center located, and when is it open?

The Center is located in Katonah, New York. We invite you to visit us during our operating hours and speak with a member of our client services team. We will do our best to provide food and clothing assistance, access to CCNW classes and programs, and help finding other local resources. We are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursdays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; and most Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

You can also contact us by calling 914-232-6572 or by sending an email.

Can the Center help me with financial support?

Unfortunately, we cannot. However, we will do our best to meet your immediate needs with temporary food and clothing assistance.

We can also help you get back on your feet by providing access to our job skills programs.

Please understand that while the Center will do its utmost to help, we cannot provide monetary assistance of any kind.
