We welcome donations of clean, gently used, seasonal clothing, shoes and linens. Last year alone we collected and sorted over 140,000 pounds of these donated items. Clients can “shop” twice a month for clothing and it is all free of charge. In 2007 more than 700 families “shopped” each month at the Center.
We accept winter clothing from Labor Day through March, and spring/summer clothing from April through Labor Day. These items can be dropped off at the rear entrance to the Community Center during our donation hours: 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays. We appreciate your generous donations, but the Center cannot accept undergarments, bathing suits, books, toys or stuffed animals.
